WTAMU Student Medical Services - Student Medical Services provides high quality, confidential, holistic health care services to our diverse student population while minimizing costs. We are committed to maintaining the physical and mental well being of our students to enhance educational experience and overall academic success. Dependents and/or spouses of enrolled students are not eligible for services. Faculty and staff of WTAMU are not eligible for services, unless enrolled as a student. 

WTAMU Career Services - The West Texas A&M University Student Counseling Services goal is to help students achieve as much success as possible and reach their goals while at WTAMU. To do this we offer a variety of services. 

Alumni Association - Membership in the WTAMU Alumni Association allows you to stay in touch with your alma mater while giving something back to the students who are receiving the same quality education you received. Several levels of membership are available, each with the option of monthly or quarterly bank draft or placing the gift on your Visa, MasterCard or Discover. 

Recreational Sports - The purpose of Recreational Sports at West Texas A&M University is to provide a comprehensive and varied program of competitive, recreational and fitness experiences designed to meet the needs and interests of regularly enrolled undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and staff members. Recreational Sports has many activities and programs for students including intramural sports, various sports clubs, fitness programs, special events and community programs.

Residential Living- WTAMU offers eight residence halls which house approximately 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students. Each has its own appeal based on a student's personality, living style and location preference. Residential living can be located across the street from the Virgil Henson Activities Center next to the WTAMU tennis courts.

Pizza Hut- Offers a variety of WingStreet wings, salads, sandwiches, and of course America’s favorite pizza straight to your door.  Not interested in delivery, that’s ok because Pizza Hut also offers carry-out and dine-in.  Pizza Hut is located in Canyon at 110 23rd St and can be contacted at (806) 655-7125.

New Student Orientation- New Student Orientation (NSO) is a two-day event designed to introduce the University to incoming freshmen.  It takes place during the summer and winter breaks and is available to incoming freshman as well as transfer students.  For more information visit wtamu.edu/admissions/new-student-orientation.aspx

The C.O.R.E.- The CORE is the center of your WTAMU college experience and can help students get the most out of their time at WTAMU through campus activities, student organizations, special events and programs, leadership development and student success resources.  The C.O.R.E. is located in the Jack B. The Monster’s Army- is a student support group for students and athletics across the WTAMU campus and is headed by KWTS’s very own Evan Grice.  For more information about the Monster’s Army contact (806) 664-0809.

King Automotive- began business in Canyon in 1978 by Donnie King. Since then they have grown to become one of Canyon's most trusted home owned complete automotive repair garages providing minor repairs to computerized alignments, complete engine overhauls. King Auto also sells Toyo tires and is a member of TECH-NET, National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence & Canyon Chamber of Commerce.

Towski’s Burgers and BBQ- offers delicious freshly smoked brisket and pulled pork as well as char grilled burgers.  Just start with a 6 oz. pattie and build it your way, but don’t forget about the famous Coney Island steak fingers.  Towski’s is open Monday-Thursday 11am to 9pm and Friday and Saturday until 10pm and is located at 7200 W McCormick RD next to the Eskimo Hut.

iForty- iforty is a weekly ministry of AmarilloSouth Church focused on showing college-age/young adults the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.  iforty's mission is to create an environment where young adults can experience God's hope through worship, teaching, and community.
