The West Texas A&M Broadcasting Program boasts numerous award winning student organizations (National Broadcasting Society, Maroon Productions and KWTS). The program prides itself in its state of the art facility including a complete news studio, a soon-to-be-completed Hi-Definition Studio, a ProTools editing suite, numerous Avid video editing suites, a fully functional student-run radio station, and a live sports broadcast trailer. Students in the broadcasting program are immersed in all forms of electronic media and broadcast journalism. |

Maroon Productions is a student organization that works directly

Live Crew produces sports broadcasts for WT football and basketball games. Students that participate in Live Crew are immersed in the talent and technical aspects of sports broadcasting. Live Crew broadcasts are produced in a state-of-the-art mobile television control room.
