The WTAMU Interactive Television Department (ITV) offers two state-of-the-art rooms for videoconferencing. Located in the Hastings Electronic Learning Center (HELC), the ITV Classroom Room (HELC 56) and the ITV Conference Room (HELC 55E), contain a variety of multimedia available for instructional or presentation use. A computer, VCR, DVD Player and Document Camera are connected to the ITV system in each of the videoconferencing rooms. The system will also accommodate both Mac and PC laptops. The rooms are equipped with easy to operate touchscreen switching systems

The ITV rooms are available to all departments, faculty, and staff who are participating in a videoconference or who are offering a course to students in other locations. With the capability to broadcast to regional high schools via the Region 16 Education Service Center or to other universities through the Trans Texas Videoconference Network, students world-wide can now attend a WTAMU course in their own locations.

A support staff is available to assist with any videoconferencing needs. Videoconferences or classes are not limited to regular office hours; however, a fee may be charged for after hour conferences that are not WTAMU credit classes. Staffing arrangements will be made for videoconferences that take place after hours.
