| Office of Information Technology The Office of Information Technology promotes, supports and facilitates the University mission of teaching, research and service through the efficient and effective use of technology to maximize student, faculty and staff success. WTAMU students, faculty and staff benefit from the many services provided through Information Technology. Productivity, effectiveness and efficiency are enhanced through the effective use of information technology while access to facilities, equipment, systems and support the goals of the University mission. Information technology also provides expanded opportunities for higher education to geographically dispersed populations. Students, faculty and staff also can rest reassured that adequate security, disaster recovery and business continuation systems and procedures are available to protect the University's electronically-generated and stored assets.
