Professional Profile

Kasey Long joined the College of Education and Social Sciences in January 2012 as development officer. She organizes major gift and development efforts for the college and its three departments. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from West Texas A&M University in 2007 and her Master’s in business administration from WTAMU in 2011. During her graduate work, Long worked for McCartt & Associates as office manager and project coordinator in commercial real estate.

Personal Sketch

Long’s community involvement encompasses leadership roles in several organizations in Amarillo and Canyon including Delta Zeta Sorority as Texas State Alumni Chairman and Junior League of Amarillo. She also serves on the board of advisers for the Sybil B. Harrington College of Fine Arts and Humanities and board of directors for The Turn Center of Amarillo. Long and her husband Ryan ‘10 reside in Canyon.
