Scholarships/Fellowships Goal — $15 Million

Scholarships and fellowships play a vital role in helping to recruit and retain top students. Increasing the scholarship endowment by $15 million would generate $750,000 in annual scholarship awards to help recruit top students, benefit highly qualified students and open the door to a world of opportunities for first-generation students. Donations to WTAMU scholarships are an investment in a new generation of leaders and help ensure that all students get an opportunity to live the exceptional experience that is West Texas A&M University.

Program and Faculty Support Goal — $8 Million

Universities that recognize and support faculty through endowed chairs and professorships have the upper hand when it comes to recruiting and retaining top faculty members. A campaign goal of $8 million in endowed faculty and program support will allow WTAMU to offer competitive salaries and valuable resources to attract leading scholars. A top faculty enriches the life of the University and helps attract the best students to campus. Having endowed professors and chairs teaching in our classrooms and working in the University’s research facilities will nurture a learning environment focused on the latest in research, thinking and publishing and help provide an exceptional educational experience for generations of WTAMU students.

Capital Projects — $12 Million

Providing a secure, welcoming and supportive campus environment is a priority as WTAMU begins its second century. Support for the creation of new campus buildings and renovations of existing facilities paves the way for growth in enrollment numbers, enhances student amenities and builds Buff Pride.

The Future...

Ambitious goals for the University’s second century ensure that future generations of Buffs have the opportunity to pursue their hopes and dreams in the challenging, stimulating atmosphere that makes West Texas A&M University unique. It’s an atmosphere that boasts Buff Pride and produces graduates who enrich the business, cultural, educational, medical and agricultural professions of the Texas Panhandle and beyond.
