Payment Methods and Deadlines

Payments for tuition, fees, room and meals are made to the Business Office. A deferred payment plan is available for the fall or spring semester.

Payments can be made by:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Money order
  • Cashier's check
  • Credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover accepted through Buff Advisor)
  • Debit card (may need to check with your personal bank for transaction limit)
  • Emergency tuition and fee loan

Emergency loans for tuition and fees will be applied to the student's account prior to the payment deadline.  A confirmation number will be shown on the screen when the loan is accepted.  Book loans are applied to the student's Buffalo Gold Card.  Loans are 90 day loans in the fall and spring semesters and 45 day loans in the summer terms.  Interest begins accruing when the loan is applied to the student's account or Gold Card.  Interest is 5% on tuition and fee loans and 12% on book loans.  The maximum tuition and fee loan is $1,500.00 for a Texas resident and $2,500.00 for all other students.  The maximum book loan is $300.00 in the fall and spring semesters, $200.00 in the summer terms, and $100.00 in the intersessions.  Students may apply for emergency tuition and fee and book loans through Buff Advisor.

No billing statements are mailed.

Registration charges are posted on Buff Advisor approximately two weeks prior to the payment deadline.
