Fulbright Scholarships aim to “increase mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States
and other countries” through the exchange of persons, knowledge and skills. Currently, the program
operates in more than 140 countries. It is open to U.S. citizens who will hold a Bachelor’s degree by the
start of the grant and are interested in studying, conducting research or teaching English abroad.
