Technology and distance education fees hearing, 12:15 p.m. and 5 p.m., March 21, Classroom Center, Room 331.
University officials will discuss and answer questions about WTAMU’s technology and distance education fees in two separate sessions—12:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday, March 21 in Room 331 of the Classroom Center.
Students currently pay a mandatory technology fee of $11 per semester credit hour to provide, operate, maintain and staff facilities and equipment that helps promote computer literacy among the entire student body.
Students enrolled in online courses pay an additional $40 per semester hour distance education fee. Students taking only distance education courses can apply for a fee waiver agreement which eliminates the following fees: health, traffic safety, student center complex, recreational sports, athletics and transportation.
