Details:

The Master of Arts in Teaching-Panhandle Alternative Certification for Educators program is a university-based teacher certification program for individuals who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree and want to make a career transition into the teaching profession. The program, which ultimately culminates in Texas educator certification and an advanced degree, begins with an intensive summer of online, graduate course work after which an eligible candidate can be employed as a teacher in a Texas school district. The 2014-2015 priority application period opens January 1 and goes through April 1, 2014. Apply early to ensure receipt of all information and a timely evaluation of transcripts.
