The WT Graduation Pledge program is open to new students who enter the University directly from high school during summer 2009 or later. This program is designed to support, encourage, and reward students who complete a bachelor’s degree within four years.

Participation in the program requires a formal agreement with WTAMU Advising Services, subject to initial assessment during the first semester by the academic advisor regarding the student’s individual readiness.

  • Be classified for tuition purposes as a resident of Texas.
  • Begin enrollment at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) fall 2009 or later.

As a participant in the WT Graduation Pledge program, the student agrees to the following:

  • Sign-up for classes during each semester’s early registration period and meet payment dates.
  • Maintain continuous enrollment at West Texas A&M University during fall and spring semesters.
  • Successfully complete a minimum of fifteen credit hours per semester; when a required course is not available, notify the academic advisor.
  • Complete all coursework at West Texas A&M University.

  • Sound guidance from an academic advisor.
  • Mutually acceptable alternatives or substitutions in the case that a course or courses designated for the degree are not available.
