    A picture of Dr. Kelley

    Gary Kelley, Ph.D.: Dr. Gary Kelley is Director of Institutional Research and Professor of Computer Information Systems. He is responsible for coordinating institutional data collection and reporting. He has been at West Texas A&M University since 1983 during which tine he has served as faculty member, department head of Computer Information Systems, associate dean of the College of Business and president of the faculty senate. His areas of interest include applied statistical analysis, forecasting, time series analysis, and applied regression analysis. Dr. Kelley received a B.S. in mathematics from Texas Tech University in 1972, an M.S. in statistics from Southern Methodist University in 1975, and a Ph.D. in statistics from Southern Methodist University in 1977. He is a member of the American Statistical Association.

A picture of Lisa Dingman

Elizabeth L. Dingman is currently the Senior Information System's Analyst for the department.  Lisa serves as the department's personnel programmer/analyst, maintaining existing programs as well as creating new programs as the needs of the department continue to grow each semester.  Lisa began to work with the University in August 2001 as a Computer Programmer.  She began working for the Planning and Analysis Office in July 2002.  Lisa's responsibilities include reporting University data to the Texas Higher Education Coordinate Board as well as the Texas A&M University System.

Jo Jan Nunley, Administrative Secretary for the Department of Institutional Research, assumed her position on May 15, 2000, returning to the University after an absence of ten years. She previously worked in the College of Business as Dean's Secretary and in the Political Science Department and the Academic Affairs office. Jo Jan's husband, Darwin, works the night shift as Superintendent in the janitorial department.

Jo Jan's experience includes working in Amarillo as an Administrative Assistant at Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center. She also worked for four years in Raton, New Mexico, at P&M Coal Mining Co. as an Administrative Assistant.

Jo Jan's interests include freelance magazine writing for national publications.  She has published over 200 articles nationally and many articles locally.  Her experience includes academic editing.

A picture of Manhong

Manhong Zou is Graduate Assistant of Institutional Research Department. She received her BA degree in Scientific Technology English from Shenyang University, China. She is now working on MPA at WT. Manhong's duties include department's paperwork and also development and maintenance of this website. Her favourite hobby is watching basketball and football games.

Micah L. Boyer, plans to graduate in the spring of 2007.  He plans to apply to the Texas Tech early admittance program for Medical School.  Micah serves as president of WT Lion's Club and gives tours in the Admissions Department for prospective WTAMU students.  He serves as a tutor in Math and Science.   Micah's long-range plans include studying to become a surgeon.
