Dr. Duane J. Rosa is Director of Planning and Analysis, a position he has held since 1990.   He is responsible for coordinating all university strategic planning, institutional data collection and reporting, and is the SACS accreditation liaison for the university.   He is the Regional Division Director of the Texas Transportation Institute .   Dr. Rosa is Professor of Economics, and teaches courses in Environmental Economics, Money Credit & Banking, Managerial Economics, and Engineering Economics.

 

Dr. Rosa received his Ph.D. in Economics from Texas Tech University, an M.A. (Engineering/Statistics) from the University of Oklahoma, an M.A. (Economics) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and undergraduate degrees (B.S. and B.A.) from the University of Nevada and the University of Oklahoma.

 

Dr. Rosa was a Fulbright Professor at the University of Iceland in 1992 and in 1994, where he did research on geothermal power production.   Dr. Rosa has published and presented 75 articles in professional engineering journals and at conferences in the area of energy production and water resources.
