Test and Math Anxiety Solutions | Tutoring

Assistance is available in math and writing through labs supported by students, graduate teaching assistants and faculty. Hours of operation are posted each semester, and appointments are not necessary.
SI classes are conducted by students who have had prior success in select classes. Student instructors work directly with professors to provide weekly SI sessions reinforcing classroom lectures and discussion. As a group, students who regularly attend structured SI sessions demonstrate a higher final grade than those who do not participate. Sometimes students can get so nervous taking a class or preparing for a test that they have difficulty concentrating and recalling material in testing situations. If this is you, please know help is available. Contact Student Counseling Services or Student Support Services to learn how to master the skills necessary to overcome test or math anxiety.
Through a simple application process students can receive one-on-one tutoring assistance free of charge for all core courses, as well as many discipline specific courses. Two tutoring resources are available. For best results apply early.
