Study Abroad Parents
Dava and her mother in Taiwan

As a parent, we understand the different questions and concerns you may have when your child mentions studying abroad. Our office is dedicated to ensuring your child's safety and to furthering their academic endeavors. This part of the website is dedicated to answering some of the common questions parents have, as well as proactively addressing any other concerns that may arise.

We have also provided some tips to help make the Study Abroad experience as stress free as possible for both the parents and the students. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at studyabroad@wtamu.edu or at 806.651.5309.

Our office wants you, the parent, to be aware and informed through the planning and preparing for your child's study abroad experience. These are just a couple of the resources we provide to students to help keep them on track and prepared for studying abroad.
