Audition Information 2009 On the first day of the camp session (Sunday, May 31), campers will audition for placement in a chamber ensemble with others of similar ability. Please prepare the following excerpts as best you can. The audition may include sightreading: High School (entering 9th grade in the fall, or older) - Violin
- Viola
- Cello
- Bass
- Honors Piano: Two pianists will be selected to perform in one of two honors ensembles. Prepare one of the following for your audition:
- Dvorak's "Dumky Trio," op. 90, 2nd movement (Andante - Vivace non troppo - Andante); editions: International or Henle
- Mozart's Quartet in Eb major, K. 493, 1st movement (Allegro); editions: Barenreiter or Henle
- Piano: two short excerpts of your choice
