Dr. Humpherys joined the College of Business in 2011. He received B.S. and M.I.S. degrees from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. in Information Systems Management from the University of Arizona.
Dr. Humpherys teaches in the areas of programming, operations methods, and applied management information systems.
The research of Dr. Humpherys has appeared in multiple journals including MIS Quarterly, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communications, Communications of the Association for Information Systems Journal, and Decision Support Systems Journal. His current research areas focus on developing theories of Information Systems to aid in Homeland Security efforts, identifying deception/hostile intent, and identifying financial fraud.
