WTAMU Choirs

About the Choirs

All interested WTAMU students are encouraged to sing in a choir. It is not required to be a music-major in order to be involved in the choral program.  With four distinctive ensembles, there is a place for everyone - even beginners.  The Collegiate Choir is an open enrollment group - all one has to do to join is register for MUEN 1041.  Other ensembles require an audition.

Auditions for WTAMU Chorale and Chamber Singers are held each semester. Interested students must contact Dr. Sean Pullen, Director of Choral Activities, by email or phone (806) 651-2846 to set up an audition before each new semester begins. During the short audition, students will vocalize and demonstrate sight-reading skills to help the director determine which group will be most appropriate for them.  Prepared solos are not necessary.
