He was employed in several engineering positions with Southwestern Public Service Co. (now Xcel Energy) beginning in 1974. Mr. Reynolds started his consulting business in 1982, which he continues today. In his capacity as a consulting engineer, Mr. Reynolds has designed the electrical systems for many of the buildings on the WTAMU campus. Mr. Reynolds joined the College of Business in 2004 as a part-time instructor after receiving his M.S. in finance and economics from WTAMU in 2003. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Texas Tech in 1974. Teaching and Related Service Mr. Reynolds teaches principles of microeconomics and behavioral economics to night students, alternating between the Canyon and Amarillo campuses. Mr. Reynolds is a member of Phi Gamma Mu and Omicron Delta Epsilon (social science honor societies), and Tau Beta Pi (engineering honor society). He is a registered professional engineer in four states. Research and Creative Activity Mr. Reynolds participates in several economic research topics with WTAMU professors. Personal Sketch Mr. Reynolds lives in Amarillo with his wife, Mary. They have two grown children, Spencer and Kristen. He enjoys reading, travel, and writing. |
