Department of Management, Marketing and General Business Online Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Degree in General Business The Management, Marketing and General Business Department is pleased to announce its new Online BBA degree in General Business, with a wide variety of courses. The Online BBA is a viable option for current students, those wishing to complete a degree started earlier, and students transferring from other institutions. West Texas A&M University first started offering online courses in Summer 1997. The College of Business quickly jumped on that train with its first online course that Fall, which then developed into an entire online MBA. During that time the COB also developed numerous undergraduate online courses, but until now had never packaged them into an undergraduate degree option. This option is designed to provide the final 57 hours of a student's undergraduate degree online (19 courses), and is effectively a "finishing degree." Students can complete the first 63 hours at WT or elsewhere. Students will be able to select three concentration areas from five that are currently available with sufficient inventory of online courses: Marketing, Management, Economics, Finance and IDM. Three upper-level courses (beyond the Principles courses) must be taken in each of the three selected areas. The program consists of only 3000- and 4000-level courses. All Business Core courses and sufficient concentration area courses will be offered such that the 57 hours can be completed within two full academic years. The three academic departments in the College of Business are prepared to offer a full slate of online options each semester, with the key College of Business Core requirements being offered at least once each academic year. The three concentration areas can be filled with a wide variety of courses offered each semester. For information contact the MMGB office at 806.651.2500 or check out a degree planning sheet.
