Department of Management, Marketing and General Business
Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Degree via Online Instruction with Majors in Management, Marketing, General Business, or Law & Economics
The College of Business at West Texas A&M University (COB) offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree via the online instruction mode in the following majors: Management, Marketing, General Business, or Economics with a specialization in Law & Economics. The online options provide an opportunity for working students and those living at a distance to earn their college degree. All courses needed to complete all four B.B.A. options can be earned completely online or students have the option to combine campus and online courses to complete degree requirements. The web-based and the on-campus courses are offered during the same semesters, taught by the same faculty, share the same content, and meet the same learning objectives.
In addition to engaging learning in an online format, students benefit from the following:
1. A Quality Education
The COB at WTAMU is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, or AACSB. Less than 5% of the world’s 13,000 business programs earn the prestigious AACSB seal of approval, which makes a business degree from West Texas A&M University highly valuable.
2. Flexible Options
Students earning a degree in general business have the opportunity to customize their degree program by choosing three of seven different areas of study: Marketing (MKT), Management (MGT), Business Law & Communication (BUSI), Economics (ECON), Finance (FIN), Computer Information Systems (CIDM), and Supply Chain Management. Three upper-level courses (beyond the Principles courses) are completed in each of the three selected areas. The departments in the COB are prepared to offer a full slate of online options each semester, with the key COB core requirements being offered at least once each academic year. The three areas of study can be filled with a wide variety of courses offered each semester.
3. Academic Advising & Support
The COB has dedicated academic advising personnel ready to help students to navigate the application and advising process. Students receive assistance with degree planning, navigating and accessing campus resources, and with questions they may have along the way.
4. Competitive Cost of Education
The B.B.A. from West Texas A&M University provides an excellent value compared with other AACSB-accredited business schools. Also, no additional fees are charged for online courses. Current information on the cost to attend West Texas A&M University can be found on the Business Office web page.
