Department of Management, Marketing and General Business
Online Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Degree in General Business
The Management, Marketing and General Business Department is pleased to announce its new Online BBA degree in General Business, with a wide variety of courses. The Online BBA is a viable option for current students, those wishing to complete a degree started earlier, and students transferring from other institutions.
West Texas A&M University first started offering online courses in Summer 1997. The College of Business quickly jumped on that train with its first online course that Fall, which then developed into an entire online MBA. During that time the COB also developed numerous undergraduate online courses, but until now had never packaged them into an undergraduate degree option.
Students will be able to select three concentration areas from five that are currently available with sufficient inventory of online courses: Marketing, Management, Economics, Finance and CIDM. Three upper-level courses (beyond the Principles courses) must be taken in each of the three selected areas.
The three academic departments in the College of Business are prepared to offer a full slate of online options each semester, with the key College of Business Core requirements being offered at least once each academic year. The three concentration areas can be filled with a wide variety of courses offered each semester.
