She received an A.D.N. in nursing from Midland College in 1985, a B.S.N. in nursing from Texas Tech Health Sciences in 1991, an M.S.N. in nursing administration from West Texas A&M University in 1994. Teaching and Related Service Marietta Branson teaches nursing leadership and Senior II clinical internship. She is the undergraduate program coordinator for the Department of Nursing. Ms. Branson is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Texas Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Association of Obstetrical, Women’s Health and Neonatal Nursing, and Texas Perinatal Association Research and Creative Activity Ms Branson’s research interests are fetal monitoring, simulation in nursing education, and engaging nursing students today. Personal Sketch Ms Branson lives in southwest Amarillo with her husband of 33 years. They have two sons who are both married. They now have three wonderful grandchildren. She is entertained daily by their schnauzer named Tasha. She enjoys gardening and bike riding. |
