Jovana Vukovic, Ph.D.

Dr. Vukovic joined the College of Education and Social Sciences in January 2013. She received a PhD from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and an Hon.B.Sc. from The University of Toronto in Canada. She also holds ARCT diplomas in voice and flute performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Canada.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Vukovic teaches Evolutionary Psychology, Social Psychology, General Psychology, Child Development, Research Methodology and a graduate course in Social/Cultural Psychology.
Dr. Vukovic has authored many scientific journal articles and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Vukovic's research interests include individual differences in face and voice preferences and the evolution of song as a signal of mate quality. For more information, please visit her website.
Personal Sketch In her spare time, Dr. Vukovic listens to music, drinks tea, bakes cakes and teaches existential yoga at The Yoga Mat in Amarillo.
