He received a B.A. in Spanish from Oklahoma State University in 2002, an M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University in 2004, and a Ph.D. in management from the University of Iowa in 2010. Teaching and Related Service Dr. Shaffer teaches in the areas of leadership, organizational behavior, and human resource management Dr. Shaffer is the author of “What you see may not be what you get: Relationships among self-presentation tactics and ratings of interview and job performance” published in the Journal of Applied Psychology. He has authored several other articles focusing on organizational behavior and human resource management issues. Research and Creative Activity Dr. Shaffer’s current research topics include changing employee perceptions through training, the effects of abusive supervision on work team performance, and the impact of pay dispersion on performance. |
