Jennifer R. Moore, MSN, RN

Ms. Moore joined the College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2013. She received a B.S.N. in Nursing from West Texas A&M University in 2009, an M.S.N. in Comprehensive Nursing from West Texas A&M University in 2013, and is currently applying to several Ph.D. programs with an emphasis in Nursing Education.
Teaching and Related Service
Ms. Moore teaches Fundamentals of Nursing Concepts, Pharmacology, and Junior I Clinicals.
Ms. Moore is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society for Nursing.
Research and Creative Activity
Ms. Moore’s research interests include music’s effects on memory recall and movement of data into long-term memory, chaos theory, and the integration of the fine arts as alternative methods to pain management in the clinical setting.
Ms. Moore grew up in Panhandle and now lives in Borger. She has an amazing blue merle Cardigan Welsh Corgi named AKC Mischief Managed at West Spinner’s End (Harry Potter) and plans to breed him when the time is right with a black and white female from Salina, KS, where Harry’s breeder currently lives. She also has a fabulous long-haired, orange cat she rescued from ASPCA named Crookshanks. She is a huge Harry Potter fan, loves to read, mow the grass, cook on the grill, and spends her summers either in Stonewall, CO trout fishing or Taos/Santa Fe enjoying the rich smells of New Mexico.
