Honors Faculty Application

You are invited to apply to the Attebury Honors Program at West Texas A&M University. Please complete and submit this form to the Attebury Honors Program office by March 30 (spring applicants) or October 31 (fall applicants).
This level includes involvement in some of these activities:
  • Attend Honors Program event(s) each semester
  • Teach an Honors class or Honors Seminar during the academic year (as available and approved by the Honors Director)
  • Direct an Honors Thesis
  • Serve as an advisor/mentor for Honors students
  • Organize and direct a special Honors Activity (for example: cultural trips within the U.S., plan a special lecture event or movie night)
  • Involve Honors students in research
  • Actively recruit students for the Honors Program
  • Serve as a guest presenter in an Honors course (as available)
This level includes involvement in some of these activities
  • Serve as an advisor/mentor for Honors students
  • Attend Honors Program event(s) each semester
  • Serve as a guest presenter for an Honors class or Honors Seminar(as available)
  • Actively recruit students for the Honors Program
  • Involve Honors students in research projects and presentations
