Clinical Assistant Professor of Business Law Office: Classroom Center, Room 213J Email: grider@wtamu.edu Phone: 806-651-2549 Professional Profile Dr. Rider received a Bachelor of Science Degree in secondary education from Texas Tech University in 1970 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1976. After graduating from law school, he was in private law practice. He then worked in the banking industry for 26 years. In 2006, he joined the faculty of West Texas A&M University as an instructor. Teaching and Related Service Dr. Rider teaches business law and business ethics in the College of Business. Prior to joining the West Texas A&M faculty in 2006, he taught U.S and Texas government, part-time, at Amarillo College from January, 2005 until May, 2006.
