Falling into Dance, Fall Dance Concert. 7:30 p.m., Dec. 2010, Happy State Bank Studio Theatre. Scholarship and Placement Dance Program Auditions. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 12 p.m., Mary Moody Northen Hall dance studios, Room 154. The audition will consist of a full ballet class followed by jazz excerpts and modern excerpts, then an optional one-minute solo in any style. Wear traditional ballet outfit then optional jazz/modern. Complete the application (see audition page) and email it to Leslie E. Meek at lemeek@wtamu.edu OR mail it to: WTAMU Dance Program, Box 60747, Canyon, Texas 79016 before January 25. It's important to RSVP at 806-651-2820 or email Leslie E. Meek an RSVP.
You can also arrange to audition separately in person or audition via videotape/DVD by contacting Mrs. Meek. Videotape/DVD auditions will be considered for scholarships, but in-person auditions are preferred. Video audition must be post marked by March 30.
