Department of Communication Disorders Success Stories Graduation Rate. 100% of our graduate students over the past three years graduate from the program (18 graduated in 2008, 11 graduated in 2009, 12 graduated in 2010, and 14 graduated in 2011). National Exam Pass Rate. During the academic year 07/08 12 students took the exam and 10 passed on the first attempt (83%). During the academic year 08/09 26 students took the exam and 19 passed on the first attempt (73%). During the academic year 09/10 19 students took the exam and 15 passed on the first attempt (79%). During the academic year 10/11 20 students took the exam and 14 passed on the first attempt (70%). For the past two academic years 100% of our students passed the exam on the second attempt.
