Activities

Students

Classes
Classes are available in jazz (by audition), rhythm reading, music theory, drum majoring, conducting, twirling, double reed making, marching band, and flag along with brass, woodwind, and percussion ensembles for students who have completed 7th grade.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are available for instruments, drum majoring, twirling, and flags for $15 per lesson.

Arm patch and case sticker for each camper. Recordings and full band photographs will be available for purchase.

Recreational Activities
Recreational activities at the Virgil Henson Activities Center include bowling*, raquetball*, swimming and lazy river, pool and ping-pong. (*Small additional charges apply.)

Church
Campers are informed of services and encouraged to attend church of their choice on Sunday, July 20.

Other Activities
Dances, bingo and games planned nightly.

Special trips to TEXAS musical drama and Wonderland Park available for extra charge of $20 each.

Each camper will receive an arm patch and case sticker. Recordings and full band photographs will be available for purchase after camp.
