IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Pre-Admission Content Tests (PACT)

Significant changes to Texas Administrative Code were approved by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC). The new rule allows degreed individuals who have not been enrolled in an Educator Preparation Program (EPP) to take Pre-Admission Content Tests (PACT) to demonstrate content proficiency for possible admission into an EPP. We can help you do all of these through West Texas A&M University’s alternative certification programs. We offer two Texas Education Agency-approved programs designed for degreed individuals to complete Texas Teacher certification.
