Approved Faculty Senate Minutes

May 4, 2006

I. Call to Order : President Pam Lockwood called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m. Members present were Syed Anwar , Sandy Babitzke , Charles Chase, Mo Cuevas, Robert Hansen, Harry Hueston, Mary Jarvis, Frank Landram , Joshua Lewer (substituting for Sharon Burnett), Pam Lockwood, Jessica Mallard, Amy Newman, Ian Peddie, Bonnie Pendleton, Helen Reyes, and Neil Terry.

II. Memo to Dr. Chapman

Dr. Chapman's comment at the end of the semester meeting was discussed. Pam Lockwood explained that she is in the process of responding to Dr. Chapman's memo.

III. Administrator Evaluations

Dr. Rosa said that the number of evaluations he has received is low and that senators should remind their colleagues to fill out the reports.

IV. Election of Officers

Chuck Chase was elected President

Harry Hueston was elected Vice President

Jessica Mallard was elected Secretary

Faculty Senate adjourned at 12:40 p.m.
