    The College of Education and Social Sciences is composed of the Department of Behavioral Sciences; Division of Education; Department of History and Political Science; and Department of Sports and Exercise Sciences.
    The College has a dedicated faculty, a large majority with doctorates from prominent universities throughout the country, and more than 1,200 students in 45 major fields of study. Departments within the College of Education and Social Sciences offer undergraduate programs in criminal justice, education, sports and exercise sciences, history, political science, public administration, psychology, sociology and social work.
    The college provides a wide variety of professional preparations including criminal justice administration, pre-law, legal assistant, public administration, sports and exercise sciences, recreation and leisure and teacher education, along with graduate work in a number of fields of study.
