We're trying to get pictures of all the sectionals. Hope we're providing "proof of life" for you loved one. We're doing our very best to protect them and help them improve as musicians. Let's go. First, we'll visit the JH concert horns under the direction of Mr. Bennington.
Then it's off to Founders 228 for the JH honor band flutes. Mrs. Seale is their instructor.

Next is the basson class. These campers are members of the HS symphonic band. Notice how even their instruments are trained to sit up tall and straight.

Now it is 1:45, so we're going to look at some of the required afternoon class. These are my pictures of the violin class led by Dr. Reidlinger. Not bad for hand-drawn, eh?
HS trumpet ensemble 1 with Dr. Takacs. All of the ensembles perform tomorrow for one another. It starts at 1:30. Hgih school is in Northen Recital Hall; junior high school is in Legacy Hall in the Jack B. Kelley Student Center.

Another ensemble is the JH double reeds, which are the oboes and bassoons. Mr. Doege leads this group.
Their counterpart, the high school students, aim their bells toward the junior high campers in mock combat. Mr. Cameron is their general.

At the 3 p.m. assembly, the top woodwind, brass, and percussion player performed for the campers in their respective ensembles. First up is the percussion ensemble. Dr. Boehme conducted from behind on a trap set.
Next up was the woodwind ensemble. They performed Barber's Adagio for Strings and Rossini's Barber of Seville. Mr. Worosello conducted the group.
And the brass choir performed selections from Band of Brothers and Pacific. Dr. Mandredi was their conductor.
After the assembly, various departments at the university introduced themselve to the campers.
Tonight the 7 p.m. assembly reatured the Jazz Band 1 directed by Dr. Barger.
Then it was the Directors Jazz Band.
Dr. Buckley was the soloist with the group. His residency this week was sponsored by Tarpley Music. We're grateful for their partnership with our camp
