Dr. Teweleit, assistant camp director, sent photos. (I'll try to interpret.) I don't know what this is, but it's pretty.

Monday morning in Northen Recital Hall before the rehearsals. High school students.

Maybe this is the honor campers on stage. These are the students from last year's camp that were identified as student leaders for this year's camp.

This is the high school honor band rehearsal. (It's camp T-shirt day. The purple shirts are worn by the honor campers.)

Mr. Lefevre, camp director, conducts the honor band with Dr. Teweleit.

Back to the high school honor band.

We'll start Wednesday with first-period classes. Mr. Ward has the high school concert band clarinets.

The orchestras are rehearsing in the Jack B. Kelley Student Center. First stop is the symphony orchestra violins and viola sectional. Dr. Manfredi conducts this group.

Mrs. Lopez has the cello section.

Mrs. Attebury is working with the philharmonic orchestra cellos and double basses. She's the conductor of this orchestra.

Third period. Maroon band tubas and euphoniums.

White band saxophones.

Let's look at some of the 1:45 pm classes. Here is the high school double reed ensemble. Dr. Bell conducts.

Mr. Nuckols and his junior high trombone ensemble. All of the ensembles will perform for each other on Friday, starting at 1:30 pm. Junior high will be in the JBK Legacy Hall; high school, Northen Recital Hall.

The junior high tuba/euph ensemble meets in the mirror room. Mr. De La Garza is their director.

The color guard class meets in the activity center all-purpose room.

Ms. Frazier conducts the junior high school flute ensemble 1.

Off to Founders Hall and the junior high clarinet ensemble 3 with Mrs. Loudenback.

Then it's the junior high saxophone ensemble.

And junior high percussion ensemble 2. Mr. Garcia is their conductor.

At the 3 pm assembly, teams were supposed to put T-shirts over T-shirts. If you scroll down quickly, it will be like watching a movie.

The College of Fine Arts and Humanities (music, art, history, communication, dance, theatre, English, modern languages, philosophy) had information for high school seniors and a freeze pop.

Jazz band 2 in Northen Recital Hall rehearsing with Mr. Lough at 4:30 pm.

The faculty rectial was the 7 pm assembly. Dr. Goza and Dr. Nam performed four preludes by Shostakovich.

Dr. Boehme performed a snare and kick drum piece.

Dr. Loudenback performed Bozza's Improvisation et Caprice.

Drs. Bell and Schury performed a work that Conor (bassoon) composed.

Mr. Lough and Mrs. Abbasova performed Mendez's La Virgen de la Macarena.

Drs. Schury-Peckham, Bell, Miller performed a trio.

Dr. Takacs and MRs. Abbasova in Flight of the Bumblebee.

The finale was Philip Sparke's Overture for Woodwinds conducted by Mr. Swails.

Student Events took pictures of what happens after I go to sleep. [No, It's not a nightmare. Also, some of the student event workers were captured on film. See if any of them match what you see on the wall at the post office. Let me know, but you can have the reward money.]
