Monday, the first real day of camp.

Here are some random pictures taken before 9 am.

At 1:45 pm we have required classes. The campers get to chose which one they will attend. We'll try to pick different classes during the weeki. We'll start with the second high school saxophone ensemble

Next up is the high school tuba/euph ensemble.

Now we're at th 3 pm high school assembly in Northen Recital Hall.

There is usually a contest to earn points for your band. It looks like it was hula hoop.

Mr. Simpson, who manages the School of Music. He makes nearly daily visits delivering mail to the camp office, which is in a different building. He's in the "F" building and we're in the "N" building. Thanks, Steve.

We had band rehearsals at 7 pm. I visited the high school honor band.

We have the Band Director's Workshop on campus. They are band directors and are here for clinics and other professional developemnt. Three of the directors are from Tanzania and they brought 14 students with them to participate in our camp.

Next is the junior high school symphonic band. Mr. Burns is rehearsing the group.

I ended with the high school concert band in F-227.

After this, the campers have a dance, bingo, etc. in Legacy Hall and sports in the Activity Center. We'll try again tomorrow.
