I delivered roll sheets to the 7:45 am classes. This is the drum major class that meets in the Fine Arts Complex Grand Lobby. The sun is coming up for the east (like it always does!) and this area is on the east side. I'll revist tomorrow.
The twirlers are in the Activity Center.
Then I ran all the way in my car to the west addition at Northen for a few pictures of the breathing class.
Here is the high school white trombone sectional during first period.
At the 3 pm junior high assembly, it was very dark.
The game was to attach as many sticky notes to your face in 4 minutes. No one knew who won. Isn't that a fun game?
At 3:30 pm, the directors come together to form a band, which will play for the students next Thursday, July 18, at 3:30 in Northen Rectial Hall.
At 4:30 various presenters are invited to the band director workshop to lead a clinic. Mr. Morales' topic was teaching beginning trombone.
Mr. Hinds is rehearsing jazz band II in Northen Recital Hall. This is one of the 4:30 electives for the campers.
At 7 pm, many of the campers boarded buses to go see T*E*X*A*S, an outdoor musical in the Palo Duro Canyon. Perhaps we'll get some pictures from that event tomorrow.
