Monday morning are the auditons for bands. High school students grades 9 and above auditon for and are placed in the honor band, symphonic band, concert band, maroon band, or white band. Junior high students grades 7 and 8 are in the junior high honor band, symphonic band, concert band, or varsity band. Here are some snapshots of students getting ready for their auditon.

The Branding Iron Theatre is open for students so that they can warmup.

Northen Recital Hall is also open.

Student Events is open as well. Here are Ms. Lewis and Mr. Gonzalez. They will run the 3 pm assemblies.

While I was doing the audition results, I sent Mason, who works in the band camp office, out to records his memories of camp.

The junior high school students will gather in Northen Recital Hall, be introduced to their directors, and head off to their first rehearsal.

Moving on to the high school symphonic band in the band hall. Dr. Teweleit is the conductor (along with Mr. Worosello). Mr. Perry is the percussion assistant.

Off to the high school maroon band brass and percussion rehearsal. Mr. Nuckols is working with them.

Mr. Collins has the woodwinds.
